Right now, I'm learning JavaScript and HTML but I'm definitely willing to expand on that.
Roger: I think programming languages don’t matter that much, because it’s easy to learn new ones once you know a few. But the most common programming languages used at Google are C++, Java, Go, and Python (plus the various domain specific languages, like JavaScript and Objective-C). I’m not sure how many programming languages I know. If I counted them all, then the majority would be highly specific configuration languages. Some languages have many different dialects. There’s also a big difference between just knowing the syntax (a few hours of effort) versus knowing the language’s idioms, conventions, and ecosystem of tools and libraries. Depending on your exact definition, I think I know between 20 and a hundred different programming languages?
