Roger: Do you mean that you’ve done 1 homework assignment and 1 test so far? Or that you have 1 homework assignment and 1 test left? I’ll assume the former. In that case, what you need in one category depends on what you score in the other. For example, you could get 90% in both and end up with an A. Or you could get 100% in homework and 87.5% in tests to get the same 90% overall grade. Hope this helps.

quiz is 10%, 5 test is 50%, 5 Lab is 25%, and final is 15%. I did poorly my first test and my first Lab, i made 50 on each. What do I have to make on my next 4 test and 4 lab to make a 78 to pass.

Hi Roger. This is a serious problem please help me and respond ASAP. I had a 100 average in my class. I took a quiz and got a 12/40. Now my grade is down to a 30 as my average. How many more of the same quizzes will I need to have, in order to bring my grade to an 89 as an average? I have a 100% in integrated math right now. I haven’t received my test score yet, but I’m pretty sure I got around a B- to a B+. Tests are worth 75% of my grade, and it’s been about 3-4 weeks into the quarter. What will my grade be after my test score is entered into the grade book? If it ends up being bad, is it possible to get it back up to an A before the quarter ends?

Roger: Is this your first test? If so, your overall grade will probably be somewhere between a B and an A−, depending on exactly what you scored on the test. If you have more tests in the future, then you should be able to raise your grade to an A by scoring higher on your future tests.
