I currently have a 84.1% in pre calc w trig need atleast 90% Summative grades are worth 30% with 3 grades in the category: summative 1= 100points sum 2= 100 points and final= 200 points I got a 76.8 on the first summative what do I need on the 2nd summative and final to get a 90%?

Roger: I’ll assume that your score in the other 70% non-summative section of your grade will not change. In that case, you’ll need to average at least a 103.0% on your 2nd summative and your final exam to raise your overall grade to a 90.0%.

My English grade is based on 3 papers and a final exam. I'm guessing they're all of equal value since it doesn't say anything to the contrary on the syllabus. I got an A on the first paper and B- on the second paper. If I still want an A in the class what do I have to get on the third paper and exam to achieve that?

Roger: That’s a tricky question, because “A” and “B−” aren’t numbers. Supposedly, you would need to score higher than an A on your 3rd paper and your exam in order to cancel out your B− grade. But depending on exactly what kind of “A” and “B−” you meant, “higher than an A” might just be another kind of A. Do you have more specific numbers for the two grades you’ve received so far? I once took a humanities course that only assigned letter grades for assignments. At the end of the semester, the instructor just assigned grades holistically based on what he thought each student deserved, which is somewhat unscientific (but I suppose nobody really cared?). Maybe you’ll end up in a similar situation.

I have an 80% in my English class and were having a mid term exam that's worth about 20% of our overall mark. The only thing though is that it's on Shakespeare :(

Our grade consists of 6 exams that total to 600points, 100points for assignments, and then the final replaces our lowest score of exams (2-6). 1st exam= 32.5/50, 2nd exam=49.5/75, 3rd exam 77/100, 4th exam= 83/100. I still have two more exams to take, but what do I need to get on the rest to get a 80% in the class?

Dear Jeff Kim,
I'm sorry to point this out, but your second sentence in your paragraph is not an independent clause, therefore cannot function as a singular sentence.
Try this:
"I don't really need to use rogerhub. Why? I have excellent grades, that's why."

And your last sentence should either be: "I'm going to college and you're not." or "I'm going to college, you're not." The sentence doesn't make grammatical sense if you don't have a comma or the word "and" in it.
