You’re right. So basically you can import comments from FB to Disqus, but you will loose the connection to their FB accounts, right ?

Hi Roger, hope you are doing well. I wanted to ask you – how to do connect imported FB comments back to FB accounts? Hope you know what I mean. So I would not loose any relations.

+1 for sharing the code. Not really sure why you could not share it? If our format is different, it is much easier to adapt the code then write it from scratch.

We have no plans to make the code public yet. The actual implementation needs to also be aware of how you will display Disqus comments from here on out, which may be different from site to site. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about our experience though.

Can you share any of the code for doing this? I’ve around 1500 posts with facebook comments and I would love to import them on Disqus
