This writing experiment is a departure from the style of my primary blog, RogerHub.
The posts I used to write were about critical thinking and computer concepts that I thought could be applied to everyday life.
They were linear in fashion and often referenced things in my own life in a manner fitting of my dislike for public personal reflection (i.e. Facebook). They were meant to be read by order of time and were intrinsically connected through the various navigation mechanisms that I implemented.
I picked syntaxionist from the root word syntax. Google returned zero results, so I’m satisfied. To be honest, I got my ideas from a popularly shared page about hacker titles for business cards that made it to my social channels. The design is pretty similar as well.
A few other things:
- There are a lot more formatting elements on this blog like lists, emphases, and code snippets.
- Paragraphs will be shorter, posts as well.
- Posts are meant to be read separately, directed from organic search results.
That’s enough of an introduction. I don’t even think I needed one, since I’m ditching the linear structure anyway.
Though, it would have been rude to start blogging without one.
