There are two things that will have eternal value and eternal impact that you can do:

1) Save yourself.
Steps:
1) Recognize and admit that you are sinner. (You make mistakes)
2) Believe in God, and that He sent his Son to go and die on the cross to pay for your sins.
3) Repent and turn your life around. You're not going to be perfect, but being a Christian means that you know that sin still causes destruction, so while it's been paid for, it still causes pain and hardship. And, being a Christian means that you know you've got a chance to turn your life around, and you're going to use it!

2) Save others! (Go out and make disciples!)
How?
*Just be a good role model. Stay positive, and spread the God given peace and joy you have to others. If people ask about how you're able to be so joyful, share the Gospel!

*Use your circle of influence!

Here's what NOT TO DO:
*Don't be a door-to-door person.
I know you have good intentions, but you're talking to strangers, who don't really care how much you know about God... until they know how much God and you care.

got into ucla and it's honestly so stressful. i spend all my time studying, or doing homework or working to pay for this education. I have no time to relax or do extracurricular activities anymore, and I'm starting to get so depressed. I'm a first generation college student and I just feel so pressured. sometimes i think i made the biggest mistake going to this school. I should've just gone to a small local school in la because the constant competition and pressure to perform is really getting to me. there's no way i can compete with the people that go here and my grades are starting to show it

Roger: Sorry to hear that. Working a part time job while going to school can be a real challenge. I also think grade distributions tend to be far lower at public universities than they are in high school, which makes a lot of freshmen think they’re doing poorly. I think it’s important to think about what one or two things you want to get out of your college experience, and that might not necessarily be good grades. One thing that relaxes me is remembering that college is completely optional. If you walk out of your lecture or ignore homework, there’s not much your professor can do about it, other than dock a few points from your grade. You’re literally paying them to be there. So if it’s a miserable experience, then why bother at all? Anyway, good luck.
