Roger: Haha. I’ve built a lot of tools to make it easier to get through large numbers of comments. But during some months, I get almost a thousand comments per day. It usually takes me one or two hours to get through those.

I got a real question roger, so I’m a senior in hs taking a semester class thats required to grad. Failed the first quarter miserably with a 43%, and i know i need to get atleast an 80% this quarter to pass. That’s easy but the thing is, the first quarter was worth 208 points and this quarter (since its shorter for seniors) is only worth 78 points. Will I still be able to pass?!?

Roger: What’s the minimum overall percentage grade required to pass? If your second quarter is only 78 points, does that mean it’s only worth 78/286 (i.e. 27%) of your semester grade?

I gotta say, I was kinda surprised to see comments here from just a few days ago, 'cause we still got a month or so. You guys don't need to worry, we got through the first and we just have to do the same for this one, right? No biggie... (okay, maybe a little bit but hey i'm trying)

My test category is only 55% of my grade, 20% for two midterms and 15% for a final but I can't seem to work the calculator to determine what I need to get on the next two tests to get my desired grade along with factoring in my other class categories.
