My current grade is an 84.45 % because I recently bombed my last test with a 54.69 %.

I think that the website that you have created is stunning! I have used it throughout my high school year, and I am looking forward to using it as a freshman in college next year! I feel like this is wrong. With a 67% right now, and a final worth 20% of the overall grade, thats 20 possible points that could be added to my overall percentage grade. So say, I make a 50 on the test, which is equivalent to 10 percentage points, then I'll bump up to a 77. The calculator said I needed a 136% to make a B...something seems off.

Roger: I think the flaw in your reasoning is “thats 20 possible points that could be added to my overall percentage grade”. If your final is worth 20%, then it has the potential to bring your grade up to a 73.6% (if you ace it) or bring your grade down to a 53.6% (if you score a zero). Note that the range between them is 20%. But it’s incorrect to say that the final can increase your overall grade by 20 percentage points. Does that make sense?

Rogggeeerrr. What would you recommend i do over summer/in my free time as far as software goes, to build my resume. I really want to do some solo projects that will allow me to dive deeper into new topics and gain experience. Are there any project recommendations, or advice you can give to someone for building their resume? I have learned Python and Java so far on my own. Currently learning C in Uni. (im not like super good at any of them) Any specific advice? Any direction i should go? Anything i should study in particular that would make me a useful employee in regards to software/computer engineering. I'm just trying my best out here :( I want to learn more about sorts and different algorithms.

Roger: I spent a lot of time working on side projects, but when I have too much time, I end up getting stuck, because I don’t know what to work on. I think it’d be useful for you to focus on doing things that you actually want to do, like writing a script to help organize your files or writing a chrome extension to modify your favorite website. I’ve brought up silly side projects like these in interviews a lot, and they tend to be more interesting conversation than boring interview questions.

So it's finals week and I am very sad. I hate when professors rush through stuff and teach new material up until the exam. Like??? Really??? I have to not only re-learn all the old material (because all we do is cram, take an exam, repeat), but i have to study new stuff that he ran out of time going over.
