PRAISE THE LORT!! I needed a 68 on my chem 2 final to bump up to a C and move on to organic chem.......AND I MADE A 70 ON THE FINAL. This is honestly the best feeling in the world. When you only need a 65 or something to get your desired grade in the class it says things like, "Have fun (doing other things)!". Yet in college their are exams that the average score 65, so 1/2 the people won't get that grade.

As a college senior, don't stress too much about whether or not you need 85% or so, on your final to pass. Rather, study as hard as you can and try to do your best. SOME, not all, professors evaluate grades at the end and round you up to a passing grade IF you scored close to passing grade letter grade. Good luck, y'all!

@help pls, don't listen to cockarolla, you'll be totally fine with a 3.9 GPA and 9 APs, I just went to a college convention today at my school (I live in Chicago) and 3.9 would be totally fine (I hope you're talking about University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign). However, going to U OF C would be way harder, but you'll be fine, as long as your SAT scores were 1300+. Otherwise, you may be streching a little bit!

I’ve prepared some tips.

1. Motivate yourself. You are 100% more likely to do better if you feel motivated. Try to set some goals (how many hours you want to study, grade you want to get, etc.)
2. Take breaks. Taking breaks can disrupt any productive flow you managed to get going, but it’s essential if you want to study for long periods of time. After every hour or so of studying take five-ten minutes to stop and just breathe. Mindfulness has helped me a lot, as weird as it may sound. Also, snacks are good. Try to stay away from too much sugar or caffeine, though.
3. Phones up. Put your phone away. Just. Do. It. If you get distracted easily, try putting your phone on something out of reach of arms length so you have to get up to get to it.
4. Sleep. I know it’s easy to try to pull an all-nighter, they honestly give us way to much work, but please get the recommended hours of sleep for your age. It’s recommended for a reason.
5. It’s okay if you break down or can’t focus. It happens to a lot of people. If you do find yourself starting to have a panic attack and you don’t know any good coping strategies, try to step away from your work and breathe. Everyone is different, some people like funny things, some need to just be completely alone. If you can’t focus, take a short three minute break organizing things and preparing yourself.
6. Memes. Humor can help. A lot.

@help pls, HELL NO! I'm sorry man but for a 15-20% acceptance rate that is not gonna cut it. You have to have a hella good sat/act and lots of good extracurriculars.

I know that everyone in HS is stressed (at least at my school). Just remember that you don't have to put down others to raise yourself up, spread happiness and love. This may be the last chance for some of our peers to raise their GPA and if we say stuff like I only need a 70 for an A, some people will look down on themselves thinking that they are useless because they don't even have a 70... Just be nice and study well. AP testing is right around the corner. Do something nice for someone, maybe help them study or something, I mean u may benefit from this too! I'm sorry for ranting, but I was just having a breakdown and my friend group all thinks I have 7As when really I have 6As and 1C! Plz think before your text! As I was scrolling through the comments, some were nice some were mean... Just try to make someone happy everyday and you'll feel accomplished

Anyways, the key takeaways are to be happy, make someone else happy, and if you can't do that just be quiet! Without any negativity, the world will be a better place..
