College actually kind of does matter. Don't let people try to trick you into believing college is not the end-all-be-all because let's be real here: you want to go into a career that requires some sort of degree or basic level of education (meaning high school). Do you know what isn't important though? Getting into an Ivy League school or a Big Ten school. There are tons of niche colleges out there that are perfect for your specific interests (whether it's just a general subject or a specific major). But can you get into those colleges? Well, if your grades are shot, then yeah, it's gonna be difficult. But do you know what's great about college applications? Colleges will get to know WHY you didn't do well in school because it's your job to tell them those things. If a college understands why you didn't get the best grades in high school (whether it is because a family member died, you're not a good test taker, your mental health was on the decline, etc.) they are able to take that into account in your grades. But, of course, your gonna need something to make you stand out and make the admissions counselor go "Hey, they may not have the best grades, but they have ____!" So yeah, college may be the end-all-be-all for many of you, but your grades certainly aren't.
Unless you just didn't study throughout the semester or are a poor time manager (or are just a lazy-sass). Then that's your fault lol; you deserve any grade you get.

6 Lecture exams :150 points each = 900 points Grading scale:
6 Lab exams: 150 points each = 900 points A= 89.5 -100%
14 homework assignments :20 points each =280 points B= 79.5-89.4%
Best 10 out of 12 quizzes : 10 points each =100 points C= 69.5%-79.4%
D= 59.5%-69.4%
TOTAL: 2180 points F= 59.4% and below

As of now I have a 60.99%

Lab exams : 43.38% = 334/770
Lecture exams : 73.48% = 550.79/749.60
Homework: 88.08% = 211.40/240
Quizzes: 28.00%= 28.00/100

I have 1 lecture exam and 1 lab exam left . I want to get a B but I think a 79.5 is not doable with me having 60%. So what would I have to score on my last two exams to try to get 69.5% at least . if there is a way I can get a B please let me know. @Roger can you please answer this and help me out.

Roger: I don’t quite understand why your lab exams and lecture exams categories are currently counted out of 770 and 749.60 points. Is each of your exams worth a different fraction of their respective categories? Also where are the other 40 points of your homework category? Try out the calculator mode labeled “I need something else”. It may be able to answer your question.

I have a 60.99 percent in my class right now I need to get a 69.5 % to get a c in the class . I have two tests left both are worth 150 points . what would I have to score on each to get at least a 69%

Yesterday, my math grade was a 62.56. and I need to get a 70% to pass, and at that point, I needed ~ 98% on the final to get that (Roger thanks for the #'s!). OOOOF. The final is weighted at 20%. Last Friday (it's Monday) I took a test (last one before final). I studied pretty hard. my results came in......
I got a 90%, and now my grade is a 67%!! Now I need a 82% on the final to PASS and get into college algebra!!!!! (I passed the college placement exam - I got a 270/248, I have the skillz) So the end of the tunnel is coming near! You all can make it, you never what may happen, and grades are not life, you will live! GOOD LUCK from the bottom of my heart!!

I'm a second semester senior and I have no clue why I'm still checking this website. I've been looking at this website since 9th grade and it is an actual lifesaver. Anyways to all the lower class-men I'm sorry you still have to deal with the bull that is finals. Finals has done nothing for me at all.
