I'm a freshman in my second semester at high school and I have a 97 in Calculus BC. The final is worth 15 percent of our grade and I'm freaking out cause I can't get lower than a 97 in the class or else my parents will kill me. Already got a scholarship to UC Berkley and UCLA but uuugggghh hate my life.

I have an 85 in chem and I need a D on the final in order to get a B in the class and like...... I'm worried about not getting a D. But every other class I have A- and A+.

so i used to have a 76.3% in my math class and tests are worth 60% of my grade. i put in the numbers and stuff into this calculator and it said i would need an 82.47% to get an 80% for my overall grade. the grade for my test got put into the grade book and i got a 92%. pls tell me why my grade is a 76.48% instead of an 80%, when it should be even higher.

Roger: It sounds like your test isn’t worth 60% of your grade by itself. Instead, it’s part of a “tests” category that, along with other tests, is worth 60% of your grade. Try out the calculator mode labeled “my final counts as a test” or the mode labeled “I need something else”. Hope this helps!

Roger, I currently have a 61 for the year in chemistry and a 46 for the quarter (79 first quarter, 75 second, and 46 third..kinda gave up that quarter). I have three zeros in right now and two of them are assessments (assessments are worth 20% and im finishing them right now) Meanwhile, we have a final next week and classwork that needs to be put in. I also made 2 high 80's, 1 72, and 1 60 on tests so far (assessments) Do you have a guess on what I need to make on my final to get a 70 for the year in the class guessing that after turning in the missing work I would have around a 60 or 70 something in the class for the last quarter?

Being on the safe side: 70 percent

Close on the edge: 20 percent

Less than 20 percent: Failure

I will shot my pants if I get less than 20 percent. There is just absolutely no way I can fail this class. I just need to at least get 10/50 questions correct

last semester I used this to calculate what i needed on my genetics final and I only needed a 32% to pass. i thought well damn this is gonna be a breeze. well, the final comes and goes and I got a 30% >.< rest in pieces

Thanks. I just got out of class. Took my final in physics. Yuck... I need a 62% to pass with a C, & ill be so happy with that. I feel like I probably didn't do to well. All I can do is cross my fingers. Algebra was easier than physics, in my opinion.😓
