Roger: I actually took a few college courses that didn’t have cumulative final exams. Instead, there were just 3 exams that covered one-third of the course each.

When calculating a two part final, lets say you got the score from your first part back and are only waiting on the second, do you put your grade before receiving the part one grade or the grade with the part one included in the field for current grade?

Roger: Good question! Your current grade should not include any part of your final. On desktops and tablets, the calculator actually clarifies this. But the help text is hidden on smartphones. I’ll see if there’s a way to make that clarification more visible on smartphones.

Hey Roger, I have currently a 67.54 in math and I need that to be a 69.5. My final total weigh is 10% but I took 1 of my finals and got a 42%. What do I need to get on my second final. There are two finals total.

Roger: Is each half of your final worth 5% of your overall grade? In that case, you’ll need to score at least a 132.3% on the second final to raise your overall grade to a 69.5%. Also, try out the calculator mode labeled “I need something else”. It should also be able to answer your question, but feel free to post a follow-up comment if you run into any trouble.

hey yall!! if you find my body dead in a ditch it's because I didn't get all a's this semester and my mom was just a little bit mad at me!! :D i'm suffering it's almost 11 o'clock at night before my first final and I haven't studied at all

i clicked "i need something else (advanced mode)" and there wasn't an option for how to run away to another country and change your identity in order to escape the wrath of teachers and parents on my bad grades? what else am i supposed to do when all i did was cry during class all year? I couldn't read my notes through my tears and I have now developed Blepharitis as a result. I can't afford my medical bills if I am a dropout. Please help. I really thought this site was the solution as it had helped so many others, but it doesn't seem to be all its cracked up to be. thank you.
