I have to keep it like this of at least an 89.5 if i want an A because it gets bumped up. hey, Rodger, I have a geometry exam and I want to get an 87.5 in the class I have a 87.34 and the test is two parts, the first is worth 20% of the whole exam if I get 100% on part one what is the lowest I could get on part 2. Thanks

Roger: How much is your final exam worth as a whole? Also, try out the calculator mode labeled “There are 2+ parts in my final”. It should be able to answer your question.

Roger: Thanks for the suggestion! Actually, you aren’t the first to ask about this. I have a couple concerns about user interface (mobile scrolling through pages that have too many touch targets is hard) and technical implementation, but my primary concern is that comment replies open up the door to harassment. It’s currently quite hard to keep up a conversation via RogerHub comments, due to the rate limiting and the fact that replies get drowned out by the constant noise of other comments. This is very much intentional. I’ve tried to avoid providing any mechanism for visitors to send feedback directly toward any other visitor, because I think it dramatically undercuts both volume and abuse. My main concern about “likes” is that this site’s current data model doesn’t lend itself easily to denormalized derived fields, as is commonly used to track likes. I may decide to add these features in the future, but I hope this explains why they haven’t been a priority up to now. Let me know if you have any questions.
