Hi Noah, depends on how many points total in the class.

And what is passing? In my major, 70% "C" is passing.

My grade is based solely on points *not weighted*

My class is 1000 pts total, so 720 pts. = 72% C PASSING

If grades are weighted (like final is 25% of grade, quizzes 25% and homework 50%) then the math is more complicated.. and i some classes, the final is mandatory.

my math final boosted my grade from a 78 to a 91 so i'm hyped about that , but my overall grades aren't that good and i have 5 90's and 2 for sure 80's but i need at least a 97% on my chem final to get an 80 in the class and it sucks. My GPA this year sucks so hard like all of last year and first quarter this year i had principals honors with a 4.6/4.7 GPA but now my GPA is 4.2 and i don't want this year to ruin my future so hopefully i can cop that 97% because if I get first honors again this quarter i will CRY!

Happy with 80% . Even a 70% in the class leaves me with 3.8 gpa. No other grade points left before graduation..just student teaching..This class has been ridiculous.. 4 weeks, 19 chptrs. 19 quizzes, 4 Primary Source Analysis, 5 map exams, 5 discussion boards and 4 exams ..and the exams are all written answers.. last exam was 2400 words.

I'm just exausted . Haven't had a "B" in a while.. And I'm going to be an elementary reading specialist.. Don't think The Tang Dynasty or The Hymns to Osiris will come up.

Even though i have a B+ in my class there is actually no way i get an A in my class because my final has no extra credit, I need to get a 102% on my Final to get 90% in the class..... that would be my only be I hate me life right now.
