What is points? Is it the same as like %? So if my 2 part exam is worth 30% of my final grade, does that mean part a and b are both 15 points/%?

Roger: Sometimes, people have multi-part exams where some parts are worth more than others. For example, you might have a final that’s 80% multiple choice and 20% essay. The calculator asks you how many points each part is worth in order to account for this. The exact value doesn’t matter, as long as their proportions are correct. So, if the two parts of your final are each worth half of the 30%, then you could say that they’re 15 points each.
