what if the assignment is 10 POINTS, does that mean 10%?
Roger: Probably not. If you need to convert points to percentages, then you first need to find out how many points you have total. For example, if you have 500 points total, then 10 points is worth 10/500 which is 2%.

So I've got a 62 in physics so far. Need a 100 on the final to make a 75. My average is a lot higher than anyone else in the class since I spend 30 hours a week studying for the class. 75% of the class has dropped, and everyone still in it is failing. We're gonna need one major curve. I'm hoping he designed it like that, to weed out the slackers and help us learn at a higher level even though we're all "failing". We shall see :(
