i did pretty well on everything EXCEPT for my final (36/45), so my final grade is gonna be b+. yet,, i feel so disappointed in myself. gotta love how school hammers the idea of self-depreciation based on grades that dont determine your worth into your mind from a preschool age :)

i hate english. i hate it so much. writing essays is a waste of my time, grammar makes no sense, and reading is boring. my teacher is way too strict at grading and has the audacity to give me Ds for classwork that i try very hard on. i need an 85% to get an A. i can't get an 85%. i have a high A in every other class but freaking english. why does it even exist, i don't care about punctuation and mla format. no other class has the ability to bore me out of my mind as english. socratic seminars are stupid. not studying, we die like real men.

heres a tip, turn it ya hw and do your work in the semesters dont worry much about tests. thats how i get passed my classes since tests are mostly always 20 so if you do well on the other categories youll be fine

YO this place be POPPIN' on Finals week. Y'all hang in there. Have some Jolly Ranchers to calm your nerves. I hear fudge does wonders too. Also if you need more than a 100% on your final to get an A it's even better because there's nothing you can do to NOT get a B. Relax my friends.

I heard that Chinese's finals are literally the only grades that matters. Especially at their end of high school they have something called "gaokao" that is a bit like combination of finals and ACT. You can only take it once and its made of many classes. The only way you can get in a good college is that test. It doesn't matter how smart you are during the school year. If you have a bad day and did not do good on that test, your life is basically done. So let's be thankful that our finals is only 10-20 percent of our grade and it is only a portion of it. And you can also take ACTs 3 times.
