For the dropped test calculator, is the "tests are worth ___ %" the total percent, or the individual percent? because total percent is 50 while individual is 10

Roger: It’d be 50% in your case. That field asks for how much the test category is worth altogether.

Hello! My teacher will drop our lowest grade before the final exam from 1 of 2 categories of grades. We have to choose which grade we want dropped. I can choose between a 47% on a grade weighed 25 OR a 66% on a grade weighted 45. Which grade would be best for me to drop? My overall grade in the class is an 85% right now. What will it be when that grade is dropped? What will I need on the final, weighted at 30, to keep my 85% once my lowest grade is dropped?

Roger: It depends on what your current overall grade is in both of those categories. Try out the calculator mode labeled “I need something else”. It may be able to help (although you might need to use it twice to try the 2 choices you have).

So I have been kinda smart my entire life and that led me to not really try to get an A in a class and now that the classes are getting tougher I'm not actually studying and it's causing my gpa to drop. Guess I'll try harder next semester
