The anger that floods my veins does not come from writing essays. It comes from the malaise of memorizing chemistry. The facts mean nothing to me. Why one would need the periodic table to be successful when reading Shakespeare is beyond my comprehension. Alas, everything is interconnected in a web of knowledge, floating, waiting to take its place in my mind.

Hey everyone! Even if things are really starting to look down for your finals (don't worry, me too) just give it your best shot! Please don't think about what your parents want from you, or how things might affect a future job, or anything like that. Set your own goals for yourself, and work hard to achieve them. If you feel like an 80% in the class is a good point for you, work towards it! If the grades say that it's take an 110% percent, then practice extra, in case there's extra credit. There is always a chance to achieve what you want for yourself, but often it might fall short of the expectations of others. Like Elio, I have found myself always called a 'gifted child' growing up, and falling short of the expectations around me. My classes don't have amazing grades anymore, mostly B's and a few C's, ((whereas before straight 100% student gross)) but by talking, and branching out to share my interests and passions with other people, I've been told I have a job with a small company that's branching off of NASA as soon as I finish my schooling.

TLDR;
Do: Work as hard as you can towards the goals you set for YOURSELF.
Don't: Stress because you fear bad things may happen because of things you can no longer change.

Please have a great set of finals and an even more amazing holiday season.
