Where it says "grade you want to get (at least) put in 1 minus the grade you want and a .5 *subtract .5 from the grade you want*
So if you have a 70 and you want to keep the 70 put in: 69.5 as the grade you want to get, because it will round up, and you won't have to get as high on your exam to get your grade.

Big Day! Chem Final! Managed to pull up my grade two percent so I need a 67% now. Still fairly nervous, just hoping I can pull through!

It says I need an 89.44% to keep my A- in Algebra, and "Screw it, you'll do fine." But I'm still stressed out, 'cause my final is worth 70% of my grade, and I don't know if I'll be able to pull off an 89% on the test? I got an 87% on my midterm last semester though! I don't know, but I better study a lot..

OMGEE. I was so worried about my Pre-Calc final!
This is what happened.
I woke up late and forgot to bring my calculator. I got there with only 4 hours of sleep and without breakfast (not that I eat breakfast either way). I had to borrow a calculator from the teacher which was a TI and I usually use Casio. I spent FOREVER on one problem I ended up skipping. I skipped at least 17 problems, and I still had 10 questions left when she announced we had 20 minutes left. I FINALLY went through the test (though there was still the 17 I skipped) and was about to start on the questions I skipped. That's when she said we had 5 minutes left. What did I do? I filled in random bubbles like a boss.

End result: I guessed on about half of the questions and the half I actually solved, I was unsure of them. I went to this website and it said that I need at least a 60% to pass with an A, but I felt like I got a 50% on that test.

The moment of truth: I checked my grade: 95% FUCK YEAH! I got a 77% on the final. RELIEFFFF. (I probably failed the final, but we got to turn in our notebooks for extra credit so I was saved). So I am SO RELIEVED! Never again... I will do that never again...

Moral of the story: Don't wake up late and forget your calculator the day of a final.
