if my whole avarage in this course is 84.62% and I got an 80 over 100 on a 20% final exam.. how much will my total average at the end of the semester be?

Roger: Your overall grade should drop to a 83.7%.

So my tests are worth 60%, vocab is 10% and the final is 30%. I got an overall of 65.86 for the tests and on the vocab 66% and the final was 76.5%. Now I don't know what my overall grade is, can you please help me?

Roger: Your overall grade should be 69.1%.

So since this corona virus prevents us to go to school my grade in trig has dropped severely. At the beginning of the school year I had a C, 78.43% then another C, 75.14% the third grade was a B, 80.39% and now at the end of the year when corona put us out of school my grade shot down to an F, 17.64%. Now this is for only one class not overall but does anyone know if I will pass this class in my overall end of year grade? I don't know how they calculate all four of these grades to equal the average out so I'm asking if I can pass this trigonometry class with what I have now.

Najme,

Glad to hear it went well! For future reference, you should always check work! Mistakes might be made otherwise. 30 minutes is long time to check work.

Best,
Vikram Chandra

Will there be a huge surge of comments when Finals come around or will there be a huge decrease? I don't think many schools/colleges will even give any.

Najme,

Please find the final grade calculator on the website. Rogerjii has developed it for your needs and our needs. Though, I am not sure how much studying you will be able to do in 20 minutes.

Best,

Hello Roger,

I has done the recalculating of my past paper scores and now I determine grade to be at a 59. Final is worth a lot. I wonder if A is even possible still?

Thank You.

Roger: What’s the minimum score required for an A?

Hello Roger,

My name is Najme. Currently, I has 62 in AP Computer Science. Finals are here. My paper will be soon. Will I be able to get A if I get top marks?

Thank you.

Regards,
Najme

Roger: Sounds unlikely, but good luck!

I have a 91% in the class. My final is worth 40% everything is graded except the final. I have 8% extra credit points. What will I need on the final to get a 94 overall?

Roger: You’ll need to score at least 78.5% on your final to get a 86% overall, and then your 8% extra credit should increase that to 94%.

.....
Fri, 08 May 2020 01:28:31 GMT

If I have a 116 percent in math(I had extra credit) and I got an F in a test worth 14 points what would my grade now be?

Roger: It depends on how many points you have total and exactly what you scored on that test.

If I have a 96 or an A in my class and I get an F that is on a test worth 14 points how much will that bring down my grade?

Roger: It depends on how many points you have total.

Hi, I have a 93 in science and I just got an 88 that counts twice, what will my average drop to?

Roger: Does your 93 just come from a single grade? And you’re saying that it counts half as much as your 88 grade? In that case, your overall grade should be 89.7%.

Personal Finance Is Stressful
Wed, 06 May 2020 13:27:01 GMT

Roger, I'm trying to figure out if I can get an 80% on the rest of my summative assignments, (which are 80% of grade) and still keep at least a 95% in my Personal Finance class that I currently have a 99% in. I've tried all of the tools and they aren't helping. But by the time you read this final grades would be put in though, since the last day is May 20th and I don't think you respond that quick. Wish me luck though!

Roger: Good luck! I think the Advanced Mode of the calculator might be able to help with a question like this.

Hi, my current grade is 87.39%, my finals is worth 10%. Is there any way for me to get an A? :(

Roger: If you got 100% on your final, then your overall grade would only go up to 88.62% unfortunately.

I have used this site every semester of my mechanical engineering program with this being my final final week. I just wanted to thank all of you crazy people here in the comments for the all the laughs over the years. School is stressful but, and this is a weird place to say this being a grade calculator and all, your grades and GPA don't define who you are. Roger you are the man, I have lots of respect.

Everyone, good luck, have a great summer, and don't let that rona get you.

Roger: Congrats, and thanks for the support!

Roger, the man, the, myth, the legend. You have been there every year since my I discovered you as a freshman in high school. I am a junior in college now. Things are not looking good so I will cry and hope that those tears give me the 92% I need on the final.

Roger: Good luck!

I have a class where our final averages with our lowest test score and replaces that test score if it is higher than our lowest test score. That would be helpful on this calculator

Roger: Hmm, that’s a hard one. You could technically enter this into the existing calculator (either the “My lowest test grade is dropped” or the Advanced Mode) by splitting each test into two “half tests”. Then, tell the calculator that your lowest “half test” is replaced by your final exam. It’d be mathematically equivalent even if it’s a bit confusing.

@Rogerhub

Can you put a way to adjust the grading scale? For my college class anything above 85% gives at least an A-; 75% gives at least a B-; 65% gives at least a C-; 55% gives at least a D-. The class is curved which is why it says at least. Thanks A Million this site is awesome and has saved me many of headaches/overly stressful nights.

Roger: I dont quite understand. The calculator uses numbers, so letter grades shouldn’t matter, right?
