i was in a long distance relationship not too long ago, but the long distance aspect of it consumed my mind. even though i loved this person with all me heart, i saw no way in which i would be financially secure to move to them. stupidly, i decided to break up with them. but i was too much of a coward to do it the right way. so i told them that i cheated whilst on a recent road trip i took with some friends. it is the stupidest thing that i have ever done. they are 6 hours ahead of me, so by the time i woke up, they had already blocked me in everything, and as soon as i woke up, i was filled with regret and there was nothing i could say. even now i know that if i told them what really happened, they would still not want talk to me. I wouldnt either. its a constant struggle to find some sort of happiness, but anytime im alone, that person fills my mind, and the future that we could have had together. how does one screw up so badly. now i hate myself for my decision, and i live with my consequences. It especially hurts knowing that im deserving every bit of pain that i feel. idk why im posting this on here but i needed to say this to someone, and itll probably get taken down soon.
