I have been struggling in my math class all year but finally my hard work has paid off. I could turn in a blank sheet of paper and still get a clean 70% in the class. I only need 60% on the final for 80% in the class. This is the only final I have to take before I finally graduate high school. Thank you Roger and the Roger community for the laughs and encouragement during finals weeks for 4 years, I'll be back in college :)

Roger my beloved. It’s that time of year again. Where the students hold their heads low in aguish, while some pat themselves on the back for a job well done. Regardless of where you fall, I always come back. Year after year, semester after semester. Its only habit now. I used this when I was 13, and now I’m almost finished with college. Everything changes, but one thing stays constant. Roger, whoever you are, thank you for this gold mine of a website.

I've been using the final exam calculator for many years now, and I've always been a big fan. One thing I've noticed, however, is that in the advanced mode, with the "my final replaces my lowest test grade" option, the workaround it instructs will not account for the fact that such policies typically only replace the grade if the final exam grade is higher than the lowest exam. For example, I entered a situation where my lowest grade on an exam was an 81.6, and the calculator told me I needed a 79.94 on the final to get a 90. However, it's making the assumption that the 79.94 would replace the 81.6, which would not actually occur. Therefore the minimum grade I need is actually lower than a 79.94.

Roger: Good point! I had thought of that situation before, but I decided not to address it for fear of adding more complexity to the calculator. You could simply ignore the policy if it’s not really beneficial to your overall grade.

MY MAN ROGER! I have been using this calculator since high school. I am now in grad school 1 year away from my doctorates degree and rely on this calculator to ease stress where needed or to motivate and completely stress me out where needed as well. You da best. Thanks for this amazing calculator.

this website has been both the origin and cure for so much stress in my life. I wonder how it feels to have created such a mechanically simple masterpiece. A calculator and a comment box is all you need. I'm glad I'll be graduating in a year or so and I won't need to use this website, but I will never forget what it has done for me
