So I have a 76% in a class (495.5/652 points) but I'm turning in 3 more assignments, one is 31 points, one is 50 points, and the third is 25 points. They're all weighted the same. Also my final is worth 20% of my grade. What do I need to get on the final to have an A in the class?

Hi I'm back I don't quit understand what you were asking for but I made a 60/120 for turning it in late I had a 81.02 before hand now I don't know I have in her class

Roger: So, you told me that you got a 60/120 on your essay, but you didn’t tell me how much it’s worth compared to your whole grade. For example, if you had 300 points in your grade total, then your essay would be 120/300 = 40%. However, if you had 6000 points in your grade total, then your essay would be worth 120/6000 = 2%. So, the answer really depends on how many total points you have in the class.

I had a 98% overall in a class then I got 44/60 on an assignment and now my overall grade is an 88%. Can you explain how I calculate this?

Roger: Are you sure that the assignment lowered your grade to an 88% all by itself? If I assume that the assignment is in its own grading category, then it would be worth 40.5% of the current value of the grade. But if, for example, you had a Final Exam category worth 25%, then we’d say that the assignment was only worth 30% of your total grade. What are you trying to calculate exactly?

Two tests will count for 35% of the grade and the final exam will count for 30% of the grade. Programming Assignments will count for 20% of the grade. MyProgrammingLab will count for 15% of the grade. I got 61 on the first exam and 38 on the second, i did all the programming Assignments and MyProgrammingLab, he also gave a Bonus point of 35 points and i got 35 out of 35. He drops the lowest grade, how much do i have to get on the final to pass this class with an A, B, or C?
