When you fail finals the only thing to do is drink bleach and hang yourself

If my teacher told me my grade is a 74% with a zero entered in as my final. Then what do i need to beta 76% in the class? The final is 100 points and worth 10%. Not sure why he told us our grade with a zero put in for the final. This is why i am confused. Do i add the percentages linearly?

Yeah honestly (coming from someone who has good grades) grades have nothing to do with intelligence. We all know that absolute dumbass who goes 4.0 just because they work hard and can memorize stuff. I also have a friend who is one of the most freaking brilliant people I have ever met who has never got above 3.0.

Honestly with all the people rubbing in their straight As or whatever just fuck off. I have straight As right now but I used to really struggle as a student. Sometimes people don't do well because they are having problems in their lives. Or they maybe actually have a life. Most people who failed a final already feel like shit and don't need someone asshole rubbing it in.

So, I had a 69.7 in math and I got a 50 on my final which brought me down to a 69.2 which is failing and it's all because I had to rush and just guess because I didn't have anywhere near enough time to take my time and finish and I also didn't have another way home other than the bus so I couldn't stay any longer amd that really pissed me off because I could've really passed that class now I have to retake it all over again. ;-; I know my teacher could've given me that 1 point that I needed to pass so FML RIGHT?!

So the test I studied the most for was Algebra, and I felt that I would do well on it. And then 10 or more of the questions were in a format that the teacher had never showed us or taught us how to solve. Thanks for screwing over my A Mr. Hess.

This morning when I woke up, I was in my own bed, with my whole life ahead of me. I was safe. I was practically ready for the day. But perhaps, most importantly, I was hungry.
I stood, stretched, and strolled into the kitchen, my head full of ideas.
Should I have eggs? I thought, With toast and bacon? No, too much time to prepare. It was probably better not to risk it. I stood in silent, increasingly frantic contemplation. Pop tarts, leftover pizza, and granola bars were all thrown to the sidelines; yogurt, grilled cheese, and ice cream were all considered, but ultimately rejected. I couldn't stand here forever! I needed nutrients! Preferably 9 essential ones!
And just like that, it clicked! Such a simple solution to my worries. I nearly had to wipe away a tear of anticipation.
Cereal! That was it! Those sweet six letters contained so much more than just sounds...they had promise. They had honey roasted oats, almonds, fruit and nuts, wheat and flax and sugar.... they had everything I could dream of, and more. Cereal!
Triumphant in my decision, I marched to the cupboard and chose the mightiest bowl, befitting a fine specimen like myself.
The box of Frosty Puffed Honeyfrootio Flakes(tm) loomed large and majestic within the reverent inner chamber; knowing my power to change worlds, I yanked it forthwith and forced its contents to be strewn into the bowl.
I selected a spoon from a nearby drawer, which had eagerly opened upon my invitation to do so. All that was left - all that I needed to make this fantasy a reality - was a small, insignificant, hardly-worth-mentioning quantity of milk.
That was it. That was all. But no. No. God was too cruel!
I absentmindedly opened the fridge, expecting to be greeted with the radiant white teeth of a few quarts of milky delight. But it was not to be; there was no jug to be found. Oh yes, I say, there was plenty of butter, and cheese; plenty of yogurt and sour cream!

School is a bad excuse to try and teach students. The school system is broken and is used to weed out students who don't perform as well. All students learn differently and those who don't learn the same shouldn't be punished because of that fact. Even as a student with a 3.65 GPA I realized how much my fellow peer struggle and hate school because of it. I've read countless articles regarding all the stress school causes on students, even good kids get screwed over. I don't believe that a kids entire life should be determined by numbers on a page that defines their worth, and neither should you. At this point in time it's too late to change the education system but as students we shouldn't let these numbers(grades) define who we are or set our limitations. We should not just give up just because we may struggle. We should allow these mistakes to build us and shape us into a better person. Even though I'm just some 16 year old kid I know how much of an impact the education system has on students and everyone needs to be informed.

If ya'll have a 70 or higher and just want to pass (I.e. A 60) the final is 20% of your grade, therefore, you will be fine. You need a 16% to pass. Praise the sun! ⌒.⌒
