teacher wasnt a good teacher
came to the school late in the year and they were already done with stuff i didnt learn
extremely hard to catch up, and i failed every test. some tests i got almost a D on, but eh.

now here comes finals and if i pass with a 79 (which is almost not impossible), final is 50% of my grade, i can get up to a 66.7 which is a C- in his class

@bye You know, I'm a student that has straight A's, and you speak like A's just fly at us. The "smart" kids are smart not because they were born that way, but because they work their butts off trying to achieve what they want. There are kids out there that are all "Ha, I'm failing this class, don't care, ew, look at the bragging smart kids, things are so easy for them." If a kid is failing, sometimes, its because something is going on at home, or something they just can't control. That's completely ok. But if there someone that wings all your tests, doesn't study, then comes up here and shoves the blame at smart kids for bragging. Maybe you need to see this from the other side, because you've never been in the place that we have. Sure, we might be vain and raising these things off our shoulders, but that doesn't give you a right to call us boneheads.

Some kids actually CARE about the college they go to, the grades they get, and being class valedictorian. And trying to balance extracurriculars with school is not a valid reasons to be failing classes. Harvard isn't going to look at you and say, "Hey, look, this kid's got straight C's and got a 1600 on his SATs, but he plays piano, was captain of the Varsity soccer team, and won titles in Forensics! Let's except him!" And there ARE people who can balance them and get A's, not because they are smart, but because they TRY HARD ENOUGH.

And grades isn't just a meaningless letter. It is a sign of how much you learned and how much you know. That's why grades mean so much. Because an F means you aren't studying, not learning, and not caring. Its proof that you can handle your studies, and are capable of doing great things.

Kids who are failing classes, you shouldn't be up here posting about why smart kids suck and that we need to love who we are and stop caring about grades. You should go study. Maybe that will improve your grades AND your attitude towards people.

stop bragging about your grades and making snarky comments, no one needs to hear it and you justt make others feel bad. if you have a good grade, congrats! and if you don't, study hard
