So appearently colleges dont look at weighted gpas so my gpa is absolute trash at a 2.9 currently unweighted that wont get me into anything but a junior college but my weighted is a 3.6. Roger: It seems like there’s a lot of information missing from your question. I’ll assume that your “four daily grades, two quizzes and 2 tests” represents 10% of your cumulative grade. In that case, if you score an average of 85% on them, then your overall grade would go up to a 55.3%. Hope that helps.

My average grade if Biology right now is 67.5% and that is from my first two exams.

I have a 86.1% in my AP US Government class currently and was wondering why my grade only increases 0.1% when I get 100% on my reading quizzes which are 20% of my grade or assignments which are 25% of my grade. Sometimes when my teacher puts in grades for 2 assignments on the same day that I've gotten 100% on, my grade still moves up only 0.1%. I have not done so well on tests which count as 50% of my grade so are my test grades affecting how much my grade increases for other categories?

Not very much, since we know California would go for the Democratic nominee even if they nominated a bag of rocks. But let’s say instead that you could give Hillary Clinton a million extra votes in Florida. Now, that might actually make a difference, since it’s a tighter race. The point is it’s more worthwhile to fight the fights where you’re losing. Scoring 100% in your reading quizzes doesn’t help, because your grade in that category is already really high.
