Hi roger I am replying back to the old post when you asked whats the minimum grade I need to pass the class. I want a C which is a solid 70%
I got A's on both my projects which were each worth 5% of my final grade, which makes 10% total. I failed the midterm. I got A's on my excel and access assignments each worth 5% which is another 10% total. The professor also added a final project worth 30% of our final grade because he knows the whole class is struggling. The final project is worth 30% of our final grade (group project)
I also have the final exam as well which is another 30% of our grade. He has not graded by excel and access assignments yet but I did get my full credit on those. My current grade is 66.67 which is a D (because he hasn't added the excel/access. So what will be my grade when he adds those in and when I get an A on my final project and God forbid flunk my final exam?
Roger: Thanks for providing your current overall grade. That helps clarify the answer a bit. Once your excel and access assignments are included, your grade will go up to a 75%. If you get a 100% on your final project, your overall grade will go up to a 85.7%. Then, you’ll need to score at least a 33.3% on your final exam to get a 70% overall.
