Hi Roger I need your help. I have a 75% currently in my information systems class i failed my midterm which was 20%. I got an A on my first group project and an A on my second group project as well. They were each worth 5%, so thats 10% overall. My professor just finished grading my excel assignment i got an A on it was worth 5% of my grade he also finished grading my access assignment which was worth another 5%, so thats another 10% overall. I have a final project worth 30% of my final grade (group project) and also i have an upcoming final exam i am extremely nervous about (also worth 30%) can you give me an accurate legitmate answer if i were to get an A on the final project and God forbid fail my final would i flunk the class with a D or an F ? Or would I pass? Please help me im so nervous

Roger: I answered your question a few days ago, and it doesn’t seem like anything has changed since then. If you get a 100% on your final project, then your overall grade will go up to a 85.7%. Then, you’ll need to score at least a 33.3% on your final exam to get a 70% overall.

There are so many people that care about you whether you realize it or not, I may not know who you are but after hearing your story- I care about you. I care enough to write you a note of encouragement. You can still make a life for yourself, high school isn't everything. Even if you don't have a high GPA you can still focus your attention to something else and succeed. You can go to Cosmetology school and get certified to do hair, you can become an independent photographer or writer. You can retake high school classes and graduate through an easier online program-- there are so so many options. Please don't take your life, that would be a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Reach out for help- you will find it I promise.

Four years and I still haven't learned to study.

I am literally failing all of my classes. I have a 1.2 GPA , and my essay got a 2 percent grade. I don't have any social skills, im not smart, and im not good at anything at all. I don't have any friends, and sometimes i go several weeks without talking to anyone else. I get beaten up every day and I try to hang myself off the roof. My dad ran away when i was 2 and my mom killed myself because i am such a disappointment. i have no accomplishments in life and no one will miss me when i kill myself. I have nothing to live for.
