This did not work for my class. I have two midterms that equal 45% together. Aside from this 10 % of the grade relies on in class assignments that you get as long as you show up. Another 15% is based on a project and the final is worth 30%. My first midterm was last week that was worth about 22.5% and it was out of 100 points (I got a 54). What will I need to get at least an 80% for the class on the rest of my exams assuming I get all the points on the in class assignments and project? Anyone

I didn't want to write a final paper, which was worth 20% of the grade and I already had a 94% in the class - I just wanted to pass with a 70%. When I put in the figures, it said I needed a -26% (NEGATIVE 26%!) on the final to get a 70%. I laughed hysterically. Thank you for the ego boost and the knowledge that I don't even have to write the paper and I can still pass ;).
(I did write the paper though - or half of it at least, and finished with a 90%! Woohoo!)
