I take an online course but the teacher was not specific in how much my final is worth. Tests are counted as double. For example, if you got a hundred on a quiz, but a 90 on a test, your average would be 100 + 90 + 90 divided by three.

My grades so far have been
92% on a quiz

However, I just got a 65% on a test. How will this affect my average?

If an assignment is 40 points and I have 10 other assignments in my class and have a 74% in the class, what will my grade be if I got a zero on it?

Roger: It depends on how much the 10 other assignments are worth. If they are worth 40 points each, then your grade will be a 67.3% after you get a zero on your assignment.

Roger: How did you get 78% as the result? Did you specify “1” for the field labeled “The final is worth _ tests”? Putting in [77.58, 80, 60, 2, 66, 2] should tell you that you need 74.07% on the remaning two tests.

Put in 77.58% as your current grade, 80% as your target grade, 60% as the weight of your test category, and the appropriate numbers for the rest of the fields. You will also need to know how many tests you’ve taken so far, which you didn’t specify. For “The final is worth _ tests”, put in 2. The result will be the average score you need to get on the remaining two tests. Otherwise, I can help you out if you tell me how many tests you’ve taken so far.

I got a 58% on test 1 and 49 on test 1 (dropped grade) what would I need in lab and the last two tests to get an 80% for the class? I currently have an 86% in lab.
