Before my last culminating my mark was at a 76..
The culminating is worth 20% of my grade, while my exam is worth the last 10%.
I got a 75% on the culminating and my grade is now 68%. I just wanna know if he calculated that right because I DON'T KNOW.

Hey Roger I was the one who asked about what I should do to bring my grade up and you said to ask my counselor. She never helped and my teacher spoke so rudely to me and said she can't do it. The funny thing is that I'm only .8 off when I calculated it since she put in new grades and she keeps saying that she can't bring it up 2 points when it's not 2 points. Anyways I have an A+ or A in the rest of my classes. Do you think this B+ decreases my chances of getting into a good college?

I feel like school isn't even about learning anymore.. it's about whoever is slick when it comes to cheating or whoever has the time to memorize all that shit. It's never about the understanding of the subject. School is unfair. And when you do too good in school, the teachers find any excuse to lower your marks. If you do pretty bad, your bad marks often stay consistent because that's what your teacher expects from you. Why are the exams even worth that much? Why are there even exams? You can do well all year and fuck up on that one day.. all those months gone to waste. We have our own personal lives too. There is family, friends, extra curricular activities, and even jobs that some of us must have. Why do they pile us up with that much work? And I believe that plagiarism is just bullshit. Our parents back in the day use to do their assignments from the books they found, literally. They would word things differently, but in some cases even copy. There was no such thing as plagiarism or citing shit unlike today. No one gave a shit back then. I stress more about plagarism now than my actual assignment. Don't even get me started about the 2 months of summer break here in Canada.. it should be at least 6. Well I have a biology exam tomorrow first thing, have a 62 and what I'm aiming for is just a pass. It's late right now. Need to get rest. Good luck to all of you reading this.
