Here's some advice to all over achievers. Don't waste your time and energy trying to keep a 4.0 GPA. Having all A's doesn't pay off. Sure the title of valedictorian is nice for job applications and college applications but it doesn't matter in the end. Throughout high school I maintained all A's and now that I'm starting college (the Important part) I'm BURNED OUT. I learned the hard way to do the bare minimum and relax. I passed my classes with C's and B's but I didn't go crazy.

However, if you feel strong, healthy, and balanced then continue to shine and be amazing. But if you feel as though it's negatively affecting you then be easy on yourself. People are still going to be proud of you, no one expects perfection. Please take care of yourself. I hope this helps a perfectionist out there who is hurting themselves for an A.

for my AP world history class i need to get an A on my unit exam to raise my 75 to a 90 (this is possible bc I'm also getting 8% extra credit lol). I'm absolutely screwed. the highest score of all the students on the last unit exam was 83, and i got a 74 so idk how to pull off a 90.

i have a 92 in h bio and i got the only hard bio teacher in my school. her tests are impossible. i need an 81 on my final to get at least a 90 for an A but my highest test score so far has been 78. great

Y'all are probably feeling stressed out af like I am. We've already suffered through a couple months of endless homework, tests, quizzes, papers, presentations, etc.

Yet, we need to take these finals that provide nothing but a lot of pressure and nerves.

Yes, we're fucking dead.

I'm fucking dead.

But we need to finish strong. We worked so hard this semester, and we need to finish strong to make all this hard work worth it.

Don't give up!

Do what you need to do to get the grade you need. Cram everything in your head, study a little at a time, take adderall, smoke weed... do anything that will help you this week because this is a week where we need to not only study hard, but a week where we will need to take care of ourselves.
