I re thought my last post and I learned the hard way to never to give advice. I'll stick to encourgment or support. If you're goal is to become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, ect or apply to prestigous universities. Then grades do matter. The world needs smart, strong, caring, and determined individuals like you. Every person's body is different and I unfortunately wasn't cut out for it. Hard work does pay off in scholarships, jobs, and college choices. I genuinely had good intentions to help someone out. I dont want a hard working student to make the same mistake I did. Put as much time and energy that you do into school as you do in exercise, nutrition, family, social life, and your mental well being.

Hi Roger, I know this is the final grade calculator but I was wondering what my grade would be when my teacher graded my summative essay. The essay is worth 50 percent of my grade and 100 points and if I have a 72% in the class right now what do I need to score for it to be a B - 85%?

That was the question I asked you and the answer to your reply is the essay is part of a category of essays because the essays as a category are worth 50% of my grade.

What do I need on the essay to bump it up to an 85% from a 72%?

In that case, the answer depends on (1) how many essays you’ve taken so far, (2) what you scored on them, and (3) whether your summative essay is worth the same as each of your other essays. Also, do you have any other remaining assignments aside from your summative essay? Finally, you should try out the calculator option labeled “I need something else”. It should be able to answer your question.
