I do not have an exam category. The three categories I have are Daily Work (counts for 25% of grade), Homework (counts for 25% of grade), and Major Evaluations (counts for 50% of grade). The semester exam counts for 10% of the semester grade.

Roger: Ah, I see. Keep in mind that percentages describe ratios of 100. In your case, your daily work should actually be worth 25%×90% (e.g. 22.5%) of your overall grade, not 25%. If your semester exam counts for 10% of your semester grade, then your other categories must account for the remaining 90%. Since your other categories already add up to 100% (25% + 25% + 50%), you’ll need to multiply each of them by 90% to accommodate your semester exam. Therefore, your three categories should be worth 22.5%, 22.5% and 45% of your overall grade respectively. Let me know if you need any more help.

For all you stressing right now, Einstein got bad grades in school. He even failed math. So have many of the presidents. High school is preparation for life, not a test for it. You can do badly in school but yet still have a perfectly good life.

I put in all my categories, their percentages, what I scored on them, and everything else I need to put in, and it just told me, "Your final grade is [my final grade] since you do not have any more exams to do." That is not true. I never said that my exam was over.

Roger: Take another look at the step where the calculator asks you about your exams category. If you pick the option labeled “My whole exam category is already graded”, then that means you have no more exams left. Pick one of the other options.

Yeah, can you improve the advanced calculator a little bit? It still didn't give me what I need. It even gave me inaccurate information, like it told me I didn't have any more exams to do.

No, a teacher wouldn't bump your 87.6 to a 90.Because my math teacher wouldn't round up my 89.55 into a 90 when she told us that we should always round or answers. So, yeah I'm pisted that I could be having all A's but I'm having all 5 A's and an 89. But, I guess I could try hard second semester.
