I just want to start off by saying I am truly grateful for this site. I’m sure I would’ve maybe broken down from worrying so much more than necessary if it never existed. I do have a bit of an issue I was hoping you could resolve. I currently have an 88.5% in my ap bio class. I currently have 1212 points entered and 10 points worth extra credit. I have one more test that may be worth somewhere around 60-100 points. I also have a potential 9 points of extra credit. Is there any way to get my grade to a 90%? If my grade drops to an 88% before the final is it possible to get a 90? Apologies if this is a bit much to ask for but I would really appreciate it if you could help.

Roger: Glad you found this useful! Well, 10 points of extra credit should raise your overall grade by 0.83 percentage points to about 89.3%. An additional 9 extra credit points should raise your overall grade by 0.74 percentage points to a 90.1%. Then, you’ll need to score at least 88.0% to 88.8% on your last test (depending on how many points it’s worth) to get at least a 90.0% overall.
