Roger I need your help. Im taking an operations management course. Extremely tough class. I failed my first exam i got 31/100 second exam i just took today, pretty sure i failed it also. It was also out of 100 points. Both these midterms are each worth 25 percent which makes it 50% overall. I have 5 excel assignments each worth 10 points i have received a 5/10 on first one 10/10 on second one,10/10 on third one & 10/10 on fourth one, i still have one more to do. I have 40 points extra credit im almost finished working on, worth up to a whole letter grade apparently 10%. My final exam is next month and is worth 37.5 % of the final grade. It is out of 150 points. Please help. Im dying. I don’t wanna live anymore. What do I need to do to pass this class with at least a C- 70%, which is 280 points

Roger: Well, you currently have 31+5+10+10+10 points, plus whatever you scored on your second exam and (presumably) your 40 extra credit points. The answer depends on exactly what you got on your second exam. For example, if you got 31/100 on your second exam, then you’d need to average at least a 89.4% on your final exam and your 5th “excel assignment” to get a 70.0% overall.

Roger: 392 doesn’t divide evenly by 6, and it’s unusual for courses to offer a “replace lowest test grade” policy when each test is worth a different number of points. Anyway, you’ll need to score at least a 87.0% on your final to raise your overall grade to a 90.0%.

Honestly, the best moment of my semester so far happened when I calculated out my grade and found out that, despite getting 50% on my midterm, I only need 37% on my final to pass quantum physics and never have to look at a physics textbook again in MY LIFE.

For reference, the current class average is 46%, and most of the lecture is probably going to end up failing. Thank the Lord for the ability to suck up to professors and good lab marks because that's the only reason I'm going to come out of this course with the W.

I need at least a 80% in my class for Chemistry class and my teacher has posted an estimate grade for only our homework, class work and exams (not our lab), and it is a 72.90. We still have one more unit exam then the final, plus our labs. This is his grading formula..
((Best three of four unit exams for a total of 36%; homework, class work, and
participation, 14%; final exam, 25%; and average laboratory grade, 25%. In order to
pass the course a student must take the final exam and must achieve at least 60% for
