You have one ad on this website, just wondering, how much money have you made so far? This site is INSANELY popular among students. Pretty much everyone I know uses this a ton come finals week.

Roger: The ads were mostly just to cover the increasing server costs. They’ve been doing a good job making sure that the website is well funded. I won’t say how much revenue they bring exactly, but it’s enough to pay my server costs many times over.

Hi, I have a 80 in my APS science class I got a 80,83,67 the other quarters. The final is worth 20% what will I need to pass the year

Roger: What percentage do you need to pass? Also, it sounds like each quarter is worth 20% each. Is that correct?

My school doesn't work on a point system so when I try and do the "my final has 2 parts" I don't know if it's accurate. If my final has 2 parts and on the first part i got 93% what do I need on the second part to get at least a 90% in the class if the final is worth 15% of my grade and each part is a half of that 15%?

Roger: Well, what is your current overall grade?

In my class I have already taken 1 part of the final where I got 81.25%. My teacher has given us the benefit of the doubt and gave us our final grades as if we had gotten 100% on the second part. With 100% on this second part as well as the first part added to my grade I have an 88% in the class... what do I need on the 2nd part to get at least an 82%?

Roger: Well, how much is your final worth? Also, is each part of the final worth half of the whole thing?

I cannot decide if I like this website or not. Sure it relieves stress and helps to manage time, but I feel as if it may have a negative impact on the work ethic of students. Its not about passing the course, though some may believe it, it is about doing your best. How can you achieve your best if you are okay with receiving a 65 on a final to get an A. Still try! Don't listen to the quirky comments when you press enter. Try on all tests, quizzes and exams so that even if you do not get a great grade, you will leave knowing that you did your best. JK FRIENDS

Your calculator has literally become a staple among all of us in AP at my school. We have it bookmarked on our browsers and open on our phones at all time. Our teachers have even started to promote this site. Thanks, Roger!

Roger: Haha, that’s good to hear. You’re welcome!

Hi Roger, I'm just curious about what grade I got on my final test.
My grade was a 97.1% and the final counts as 20% of the grade. The final counts as two parts. On the first part, I got a 203/200. The second part is out of 100. I don't know what I got on the second part, but overall for my final I had gotten a 96.3%. What would I have gotten on that test in order to get a 96.3% as the grade for my final? Thanks!

Roger: It sounds like you got an 86/100 on the second part of your final.

I need a 99.6% to get an A-..... I am going to die

Roger: I was in that situation once. I ended up with a 93% on the final, which was much better than I expected, but not good enough. Still, I learned a lot from trying to get the 100%, and that experience helped me do better in the future.

Gotta get a 93% to pass the class
Wed, 11 Jun 2014 02:11:29 GMT

Its sad because we'll never need to know most of the stuff on most of the exams we take yet we spend so much time, stressing, at a young age, to get a simple letter that'd determine our futures.

That is if we haven't been compressed by all the stress that we've given up by the end of the school year. Someone needs to fix this education system.

Roger: Hey, it’s still better than what kids a thousand years ago had to deal with.

So i have a 72.52% in the class right now. I was just wondering if it was possible to get a 79.5 in the class still. The final is worth 20% of my grade, and also my teacher said she would replace our lowest test grade with the final score. My lowest test grade is 68% and it's in its own category which is worth 7.5% of my grade. Also there is only 1 test in that category, so it's just 68%. Do i still have a chance?

Roger: Hi Brandon. You will need to score at least a 96.67% on the final exam to bring your grade up to a 79.5%. Let me know if you have any more questions. Good luck!

Roger, for when someone calculates their grade they need and the result is less than 0%, you should have a message with it that's more relevant and unique that would make more sense than the current ones. Love your site. Thanks.

Roger: Got any ideas?

Hey Roger,

I have an 89% in my class right now. I have one final that is worth 50 points out of 344 points in tests.

Our grade is devised into two categories: tests which are worth 80% and homework which is worth 20%.

My test average is 86.94% and my homework average is 97.18%.

What do I need on the final to get a 90% in the class?

Roger: You will need to get at least a 95.7% on your final exam to get a 90% overall.
