Roger: Try the calculator mode labeled “I need something else”, and tell the calculator that your final replaces your lowest test grade. It should be able to answer your question.

I used this to try n figure out what I would need to raise my grade to an A in physics and thus not have to take the spring final. But for some reason I didn't think the fact that I had 3 other tests for this semester would affect this. So I was like "oh sweet I just need to get a 90.9 or whatever to get an A I can do that!!" I studied really hard and got a 97!! Nice!!

But then my teacher told me I misunderstood and my grade only moved from an 87 to an 88. 1.5 points away from exemption.

Oh, also, don't accidentally forget to set your alarm one night and thus sleep through a class that had a lab that day, which is 20% of your grade and also offers no late grade or redo-s. Don't do that, too.
