I don’t get why you only allow integers in the “how many tests have you taken” for the “My Final Counts as a test”. My class uses a point system, so relative to the final, I’ve taken 4.85 tests already. Why can’t ya just allow me to put decimals in my dude?

I have an 88. There are 2 more things that have to be added into my grade to know my overal grade. I need to keep my grade above an 87. The essay is worth 15% and the final is worth 10%. The essay is out of 100 points and I already lost 10 because it was late. What do I need to get on those to keep my grade above an 87?

Roger: Is your essay worth 15% of your grade by itself? Or is it part of an “essays” category that’s altogether worth 15% of your grade? I’ll assume the former. In that case, you’ll need to average at least a 84% on your essay and final to get a 87% overall.

Hi Roger, I was wondering if you could help me with figuring out how much my grade would go up for my final grade. I currently have and 82.7% and my final is 15% of my grade, The final is worth 150 points and I have and additional 41 points to add to it because of extra credit. I can get a possible score of 191 points, assuming I get all the possible points what would be my final grade? I would really appreciate it if you could answer this, thank you!

Roger: If you get 191/150 on your final, then your overall grade should go up to a 89.4%.
