Roger: Just to clarify, you’re saying that your final exam is worth more than half of your course grade? I’ll assume that’s right. If so, you will need to get at least a 430.2/500 (86%) on your final exam to get a 90% overall.

I have an 82% in my class. My final is 30% 2 sections 15% each I score a 28 and 47 what is my final grade? I can't seem to figure it out it keeps giving me negative numbers that I need on the final

My teacher is going to drop the lowest test grade and replace it with the final test grade (if our final is higher than the lowest test grade). The average of our tests is worth 75% of our grade and our final is worth 25%. If I my target is 91% overall, what score do I need on my final?

Test 2. 80%
Test 3. 94%

Roger: You need at least a 96.1% on your final exam to get a 91% overall. (Without your dropped test policy, you would have needed a 103%, so 96.1% is pretty good!)

Unfortunately, even though I have received A's on all of my recent test in all of my classes, my initial failing scores and c's have put me at a B+ instead of A's. Whelp...I'm fucked for AP chem. I need a 100.4 just to get a 90 in the class...

my final is worth 15% and i have a hundred in french. how come if i get a zero it goes down to 85%. when in my algebra 2 class(i have a 85%) if i get a hundred percent it doesn't raise it 15% of my grade up too 100% percent. the final in my algebra class is also worth a 15%. please help this is really confusing.

Roger: If you take 100% milk and add water, it becomes diluted 85% milk. If you take diluted 85% milk and add 100% milk, it’s still diluted, but just less diluted. In fact, you could keep adding more and more milk, and it would still be a little bit diluted.
