I'm gonna sound like an ad, but this is something I believe very strongly in. Basically, there is this search engine called Ecosia, which functions exactly the same way Google does. The only difference is that every 45 searches it plants a tree in a third world country. This not only allows you to save the planet just by surfing the web, but also creates jobs and food for those in need. I would recommend having google as a bookmark so that if you are doing something super important you can cross check the information you receive, however, Ecosia is generally just as good as google. It is an extension you can add onto chrome, safari, or your mobile device.
