Roger: Probably not. It means you’ve reached the thresholds of the upper and lower ranges of the calculator.

Hey Roger, did you take the SAT or the ACT? Also did you prepare on your own or use classes/prep material? Any tips?

Roger: I only took the SAT. I took a bunch of practice tests and a bunch of classes at cram schools. In retrospect, studying for the SAT was a huge waste of time, but also a unfortunate prerequisite for getting into college. If you’re just getting started, then good luck, work hard, and don’t try to rationalize it. The world is just stupid sometimes. Sorry.

Hey i just want to ask abput my grades and how will i pass it is there still a chance to pass my subject if my midterm grade is 64.35 what grade will i need in finals to be able to pass the subject.

Roger: It depends on how much your final is worth, compared to your midterm. Also, what’s the minimum overall grade required to pass?

Are there any particular websites that would help for Calculus 2? Because I failed my first test...

Roger: Do you have a textbook? That’s the first place I’d look.

If you had 10 grades and all of them were 100% except one of the grades which is 60%, how much would it affect the grade?

Roger: In that case, it sounds like your overall grade should be a 96%.

I have an 81% in my science class and I just did a project and you get up to 10 points on it I got a 100% on it what is my grade now?

Hi, Roger. My new school year just started this past Monday, and it is already tough. The stress is really piling up, and I'm running out of ideas as to how to cope. Do you have any tips?

Roger: Well, school would hardly be worthwhile if it wasn’t hard. Does your stress come from you pressuring yourself? Or does it come from somewhere else? Worrying isn’t useful. If you’re having trouble keeping up, then accept that you might not be able to do a great job at everything. Identify what’s important to you, and focus on only those things.

so last school year (June this year) I was the student who complained about AP Bio and how I feared that I would fail.

Just an FYI, I did fail - got an F on the final.

On the bright side, kept my C-!

I wanted a 93% in my english class, which, at the time, i needed to get 99.3% on my final. Well, I got an 83 on the test and this website let me know I didn't drop below a 90%. This saved me a lot of stress

Roger: I graduated from college two years ago (I’m 23 now), and I’ve been working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Google. The most time I’ve ever spent on comments is about 30 minutes per day. It really depends on what time of year it is.

I currently have a 80% in the class I had a test got 73 weight 15% what is my grade now and how much do I need on final to get 75% weight 20%???

Hey Roger, I hope I did the math right. My 3 exams grade were 88,100, & 98. I want to pass this class with at least a 70... I know I should probably be shooting higher since my grades overall are pretty high. This last exam is worth 35% of my grade, as 5% counts towards participation. Please advise. It said I need a 25%. Just want to confirm.

Roger: If your 3 exams are each worth 20% of your overall grade, then you’ll need to score at least a 22.3% on your final to get a 70% overall (assuming you score 100% in participation).

It says I need an average of 88% on my last assignment and final to get a 90%... does this mean 88% on my last assignment and 88% on my last assignment ? or 88% between the both of them?

Roger: The latter. You’ll need to score an average of 88% between your last assignment and your final. Keep in mind that it’s a weighted average. So, if your final is worth a lot more than your last assignment, then it’ll also be worth proportionally more when averaging your score on the last assignment and your score on the final.
