I got a 81 on a major test. My average grade for her class is a 92( not counting the 81% on our last test). Major test grades make up 60% of our average grade in her class. How do I figure out my new average test grade after our recent test( where I scored a 81 on) total?

I had 84% on the first 23% of the course. My midterm was worth 30% and out of 100. What is the minimum I need to keep an average of 63% going into the final? I saw 14/100 so I hope that’s right bc I’m certain I got about 45 or 50 out of 100 on my midterm

Roger: I’ll assume that your final is worth the remaining 47% of your grade. In that case, you’ll need to score at least a 46.9% on your midterm to keep your overall grade above a 63%. I’m not sure how you arrived at 14/100, but 46.9% is approximately 14/30. Maybe you made an error in your calculation?

You know what's really dumb?
School.
I mean, sure some of the stuff that we learn might be useful- I'm not talking about the curriculum and the actual material we learn, I'm talking about the grades we are assigned. Our entire worth can literally be boiled down to one letter, one number, one goddamn thing. When colleges look at our GPAs, our grades, they only see the A or the B or the C we get, they don't know anything about how hard we worked, what sit was going on in our lives, what we did for that dumb letter. They see a single letter. And that single letter could determine our college admission. That single number could determine our worth in the eyes of our parents, friends, family. That single letter could determine our future.
So yeah, I think school is pretty ducking dumb.
