I am a student at a small TAG school where it common for students to take advanced/university classes in 9th grade. I have taken 5 AP classes in 9th grade (Calc BC, Phys C: Mech and E&M, Chem and CSA). Will those AP courses count toward UC GPA honor points? Are advanced R1 university courses considered at all for GPA or honor points?

Dang, you guys are scaring me. I’m in the Class of 2026 and applying next year. I just got my first B after an 89.8% in Calc BC, and now I’ve got a 3.93 unweighted and 4.33 weighted GPA. From what I’ve seen, the lowest GPA admitted from my school to Berkeley or UCLA for STEM or competitive majors between 2022 to 2025 was 4.4 with the only exceptions being majors like psychology or film, which I’m not interested in. Honestly, it might already be over for me... good luck everyone.
