i just wanted to say that you should really do your homework and get good grades in high school. i did not do that until my junior year, then slacked off so far this senior year. all of my friends will leave and go to prestigious colleges and i will be stuck wherever i am lucky enough to get into. save yourself the hassle and focus. social media is a real time waster as well. it's fine to have it, just realize that your real life is what matters

I have a 94.40 in my class. I took a test before and got a 96%. Tests are weighed as 45% of our grade. On my second test, I'm not sure what I got, but I want to maintain at least a 93.5 in the class. What would I need to score on the test I just took?

Roger: It depends on what the other 55% of your grade is made of. Do you have any empty categories in your grade? If not, you’ll need to have scored at least 92.0% on your second test in order to maintain at least a 93.5% overall (assuming each of your 2 tests is worth half of your test category).

LOL need to score a 0 to get 90.

I have 3 tests total and final exam, my first test I got 72% and worth 20%

Test 2 got 77% worth 25%

Test 3 got 80% worth 25%

Final is worth 30%

And I need overall grade of 80%

What do I need on final to have overall 80%

Roger: Your current overall grade is 76.6%, and you’ll need to score at least 87.8% on your final exam to raise that to a 80%.

I would like to see the feature of adding an extra credit category to the entire grade as a whole, not just a single category. I'm in a course where we can get up to 5% extra credit added to our final grade from extra credit quizzes.

Roger: In that case, I figured that you could just subtract 5 percent from your goal (e.g. if you want a 90%, then tell the calculator you want an 85%).

You will need to score at least 100009800% on your final to get a 999999% overall. Maybe there’s extra credit?

My school has a quarter system so I am currently in the middle of finals and pulling multiple all-nighters (yuck). I'm only awake because my 4am cry/study sessions are sponsored by energy drinks. That being said...PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THE AMOUNT OF CAFFEINE YOU PUT IN YOUR BODY!!!

The FDA recommends no more than 400mg of caffeine per day, but everyone has different tolerance levels. Yes, sometimes a Monster or triple shot espresso is needed to push through, but too much can be dangerous. Please just be mindful, ok? Trust me: take it from someone who had some nasty symptoms and learned the hard way. I'm lucky it wasn't worse. I wish everyone the best of luck on their exams! You can do it!
