Did you know how they calculate this is all wrong becauseee I typed in some that was worth 15% as my final mark and I said I got a 100% on that and my mark was 75 so realisticly my mark would go up to a 90 but it said it would go up 2 percent what the fuck?

Roger: By your logic, if I have a 90% in the class, then my grade should go up to a 105% if I ace the final. You can also think of it like this: your current grade is a 63.75/85 (which is equal to 75%). If you get 100% on the final, then that’ll add 15/15 (100%) to your grade. Your final grade will be 63.75% + 15%, which is 78.75%. For a more rigorous explanation of the formulas used, check out this formula sheet.

I took my finals all this week, and I used this to see what my minimum grade would be in order to pass my subjects (my school district has a passing grade of 63%). My final counts as 20% of my final grade, so I went here to see what I needed to get. Turns out the minimum grade I can get on the final (as directed according to the school) was limited to a 57, so for all of my classes, I realized that I was able to pass no matter what. I could literally write my name, the date, answer maybe 1 question, rip the final exam paper(s) in half, hand it in, and pass with a half-decent grade. Hip-hip hooray.

I am honestly just realizing that finals dont even count for that much
