Roger: Glad you asked! Take a look at this formula sheet. It explains the math for almost all the different calculator options on this web page. (The newest option “I need something else” hasn’t been added yet, since it’s much more complex than any of the other calculators.) In terms of accuracy, the calculators use your web browser’s built-in double precision arithmetic. Answers are rounded to the nearest hundredth on output. Let me know if you have any questions about any of this.
