I don't even know why I'm on here because i'm in grade 8, but- I just got a 58% on my math final exam. I'm really depressed and my parents are gonna get mad. My report card on math is good though- I got 3's and a 4; Overall for exams I get very very very stressed, and always do worse. I need reassurance. Is it that bad?

I saw this (Grade = Exam Worth × Exam Score + (100% − Exam Worth) × Current Grade) up top but since I'm not good in math, it makes no sense to me. Can you please break it down for me? I just want to understand.

Hi my bio class has lab, lecture, and homework. There are 5 exams total, 2 for lab and 3 for lecture. Lab exams are 27% of our grade and I got a 70% on the first one, lecture exams are 48% and I got an 81% and a 70%. The remaining 25% is hwk which I have a 100% in. What do I need on my last two exams to pass with an 88% overall in the class.? Thank you.

There are 11 people in the class including myself.

He said everyone passed. I am pretty sure everyone got greater than a 70%

Were you one of the top students in your class in high school? How many kids were in your grade? My school has about 1,000 kids with 320 in my grade. How did you study for tests in high school if you don't have the motivation? I want to go to Amherst. Do you know how their college works

Roger: Based on GPA? Not even close. I don’t remember my class rank, but my graduating class was around 750 students. Getting an A was usually enough motivation for me. I’ve never heard of an “Amherst” college, but good luck!
