Just use the calculator
Tue, 28 Nov 2017 16:08:26 GMT

Why is everyone asking what they need to get on stuff to pass when they can just look it up on their own? It's the whole reason for this site, just use the calculator yourself and find out what you need to get. Like I have a 94.6 in a course, with a cumulative worth 20% of my grade, i use the tools by myself instead of asking it on these comments to find I need a 71.6 to get a 90. Anyone could have told me on here what I need to get by using the calculator, but I just easily just did it myself, what has society come to, needing to post something on everything just for the hell of it even if you don't need to. Also i think if this comment can be deleted it will, so read it quickly.

What
Tue, 28 Nov 2017 15:59:22 GMT

Why does this site have comments? Just do your stuff and go don't write your stupid comments. Guess that's a bit hypocritical because I'm writing a comment. Also CoolChick3 is a grade A teenager, just saying.

I am starting to wonder...
If math actually exists.
I mean, an abstract reality doesn't exist within the three axes of space and the one of time, so... where do numbers exist?
Where can I find one?
In my mind? No, one's mind isn't objectively different than any other object in the universe (unless you believe in the soul)
What even is a number? What even is an angle, or a line segment, or anything else expressed in the abstract sense?

Answer: Concepts in the quantum sense are the bridge between abstract and reality.

Bruh, I feel you. Also working to get my hours soooo RIP both of us.
This might just be the end as we know it.

To anyone debating accounting - you'd probably have a better time taking chem, and that isn't saying much. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! FINALS ARE APPROACHING (like a train and I'm hanging out on the tracks with my headphones in pretending it isn't approaching - like I said, RIP)

I have a two part final. One part is worth 10%, the other is worth 15%. My current grade is 83.89%. I want at least a 70% in the class. Someone please help me calculate this?

Roger: If you haven’t taken either part of the final yet, then it’s the same as if you had a single final worth 25% of your overall grade.

I love it when your teacher says the extra credit is worth 10 points been then jews you and makes it worth 10. Don't you also love it when your group gets a 39/40 on the lab but then the teacher puts your grade as a 24/40 c;

Hello Roger:

Your final grade will be determined on the following basis:

a. 50% from the average of the 3 highest scores out of the following 4 scores: 3 tests & the comprehensive final exam
b. 30% from homework and/or quizzes with the lowest 2 scores dropped
c. 20% from the comprehensive final exam

Thats my grading criteria:

HW Average is 98% with the two scores dropped
My 3 exam scores are: 95, 76, 82

What do I have to get on final to get a 90 in the class knowing the exam score can be dropped in test category but not in exam category.
Basically the exam is weighted into the test category, and the exam has its own category.

Roger: Try the calculator mode labeled “I need something else”. It should be able to answer your question.

In my class my grade is an 82, but wrote a test out of 75 and think my mark on that test was a 65. If my mark on that test was a 65, how much would my mark drop?

Roger: It depends on how much your test is worth, as a percentage of your current overall grade.

Mon, 27 Nov 2017 04:58:59 GMT

my average grade is a 75 and I got a 66 on a test which is worth 20%. what is my average now?

Roger: The answer depends on how much of your coursework you’ve already completed. For example, if your “75%” overall grade represents 60% of your total coursework, then your overall grade should drop to a 72.8%.

ANSWERING Suicidal Anxious Teen Who's Failing Chem
Mon, 27 Nov 2017 04:44:13 GMT

I highly suggest doing a lot of book practice problems and asking the teacher for help if you want to do well. Go online to look concepts up such as using youtube, khan academy, or other resources. I too had that same grade but I managed to do better with constant studying. If you are really feeling suicidal you should definitely check out the crisis text line where you just simply text the number and a live person will be able to help you with whatever stress you have. Text CONNECT to 741741
No doubt if you really apply yourself you can do better!

Hi, Roger! If I currently have a 78% in my class and I received a 22% on a test that is worth 10%, what will my mark drop to?

Roger: It depends on how much of your coursework you’ve completed so far. For example, if your “78%” overall grade represents 60% of your total coursework, then your overall grade should drop to a 70.0%.

Anyways, your calculator is great! Probably my most useful bookmark. :D
